Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before joining a Stockholm walk

Booking

How do I book a tour?

+

You can book directly on our website. Choose your walk, date and time — payment is secure, and you will receive a confirmation email with all details.

Do I need to book in advance?

+

Yes. We keep group sizes small for a personal experience. Popular dates — especially weekends and holidays — sell out quickly.

Where do the tours start and end?

+

Each tour lists a clear meeting point and finish location. Your confirmation email includes an exact address and map link. Most walks end near public transport, cafés and restrooms. If you are insecure, you can always contact us, we will answer as soon as we can.

How many people are in a group?

+

Group sizes are kept intentionally small. Private tours are always your own group only.

What is your cancellation policy?

+

Free cancellation up to the time specified at checkout. Late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.

Tour Format & Duration

How long are the walks?

+

Most tours last 90 minutes to 2 hours. Premium and food-themed walks may be slightly longer.

What if it rains or snows?

+

We walk in all weather — it’s part of the experience! In case of extreme weather, we will contact you with alternatives.

Can I join alone?

+

Absolutely — many of our guests are solo travellers. City walks are a beautiful way to meet like-minded explorers.

Content & Style

Which languages do you guide in?

+

Public tours are in English. Private tours are available in Swedish, Italian, and other languages on request.

What will we see?

+

Every tour has a unique theme. Expect history, architecture, everyday life stories and hidden gems — always delivered with warmth and storytelling.

Is this a lecture or a walk?

+

A conversation, not a monologue. We encourage questions, curiosity and interaction throughout the tour.

Comfort & Accessibility

What should I wear?

+

Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Stockholm weather changes quickly — dress in layers if unsure.

Are the tours wheelchair or stroller friendly?

+

Many routes can be adapted — please let us know in advance so we can choose the best path for you.

Are the tours suitable for children?

+

Children are welcome. Kids 10+ often enjoy the stories — for younger children, we recommend a private or shorter tour designed for families.

Can I bring my dog?

+

Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome on most outdoor tours. Please check tour details.

Private & Custom Tours

Do you offer private or corporate tours?

+

Yes. We design tailor-made tours for:

• Companies & team-building
• Families & celebrations
• Schools, universities & cultural groups
• Visitors with special interests (architecture, art, nature, food)

Tell us what you’d like — we’ll build it for you.

Can you help with museum tickets or skip-the-line access?

+

For experiences including interior visits, we help with timing, tickets and entry information.
